TOPIC: Do Not Journey With Losers             

TEXT: Gen. 39:1-23

There are people in life who have nothing to lose, if you journey with them, you will lose it all. Who are your friends? Who is the person you love so much and want to be like Him or Her? Who do you follow? And who are you imitating? There are many important and honorable losers, to humans they have everything they need but to God they are losers. No one can lose or give what he does not have. Joseph had four things to lose that must not be lost but he refused to journey with losers and he was able to secure his divine gift, treasures, and his integrity which led to his greatness. God can protect the blessings he gives you but when God gives you gifts/talents/treasures, you have to protect it.

FOUR THINGS JOSEPH COULD HAVE LOST BUT JEALOUSLY SECURED NOT BE LOST

1) Joseph had God with him (Gen. 39:3)

When God is with you, the first thing you will discover is favor with God and men.

2) Joseph had good character 

Good character makes the divine project come to pass in your life. Good character sustained Joseph in Potiphar’s house.

3) Joseph had talents (Gen. 40:1-23)

4) Joseph had the fear of God (Gen. 39:9)

The fear of God in Joseph made him sustain all three gifts he had. It connected him to his divine destiny. Without the fear of God in your life, you will dream and die. By prayer, you can get anything but with the fear of God, you will get everything.

  CHARACTERISTICS OF LOSERS

1) Those who love money and can do anything to make money

2) Those who lack integrity and do cheat others

3) They can do anything to solve their problems

4) Knowing the truth but not practicing it (Tit.1:16)

5) Counting years in the church but not found in the Lord

6) Claiming or known as a believer but living in secret sin

7) Claiming to be a Christian without evidence of Christ-like life (II Tim 3:5)

8) Converted but not broken 

9) Unfruitful or barren Christian life

10) Churches of it doesn’t matter that allow you to dress sexy or do anything to make money

11) Miracle and Breakthrough preachers without salvation messages

12) Having faith without faithfulness (James 2:17)

13) Claiming Heaven but loving the world (1 John 2:15)

 Don’t replace fear of God and good character with prayer & fasting because it will not work. The miracle of Joseph and Daniel was because they cannot find anything against them, they were not like some prayerful sinners. He who brakes the law of God and prays against ancestral demons/enemies is acting foolishly. Stop challenging God or claiming the miracle of Joseph and Daniel, because they do not treat God the way you do. When you are not afraid to hurt God, why will your enemies hear God before they torment you?

Eternity Is Priceless. Avoid Journeying With Losers, To Avoid Eternal Regret.
